Make sure you're pasting the key exactly as delivered — no extra spaces. Keys follow the format CW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. If you've exceeded the 2-machine seat limit, email us and we can reset a seat for you.
CosmicWriter uses WordPress Application Passwords (not your main WP password). Go to WP Admin → Users → Your Profile → Application Passwords, create a new entry named "CosmicWriter", and paste the generated password into CosmicWriter's Settings panel. Make sure your site URL includes https:// and has no trailing slash.

This usually means your WordPress Application Password lacks the correct permissions. Ensure the WP user account has at least Author role. Also confirm your server allows external HTTP requests (some managed hosts block outbound connections by default).
CosmicWriter requires RankMath Pro with the REST API enabled. In RankMath → General Settings → Rest API, ensure "Custom Endpoint" is toggled on. Free version support is limited.
Check the Logs panel (header → Logs button) — errors are captured there even when the UI doesn't display them. Common causes are API rate limits (wait a minute and retry) or a WordPress timeout on large article uploads.
See our Refund Policy. If CosmicWriter won't run on your system and we can't fix it within a reasonable timeframe, we'll refund you. Email [email protected] with subject line CosmicWriter Refund Request.
